Hypothesis

I checked `casei.newSearchPlan` at `plan.go:918-924`. For `len(patterns) > 1`, it calls `makeASCIIPairAnchors`; `makeUnicodeAnchor(patterns[0])` is called only when `len(patterns) == 1`. The submitter reports that the five-pattern Russian Rebar row enters the generic root filter with 79,950 filter stops, 193,449 decoded runes, and 175,860 dense transitions over a 1,570,556-byte corpus, while the N=1 Unicode pair-pair anchor reports 2,134 candidates and 1,552,007 skipped bytes on that corpus. I did not independently reproduce those figures in this model-build run.

The hypothesis is that filtering is delayed for eligible multi-pattern Unicode sets: without a shared Unicode interior anchor, more positions reach generic filtering, decoding, and plan-state replay than a safe fixed-width anchor would admit. The submitter reports repeated `Matcher.Find` timing is effectively identical to streaming, so iterator restart is not the proposed mechanism.

Confirm with differential fuzzing that preserves leftmost byte offsets and lowest-pattern-index ties, then compare candidate count, skipped bytes, and end-to-end runtime on `curated/02-literal-alternate/sherlock-casei-ru` against the fastest correct Rebar entrant and every `BenchmarkBar` row.

Change to test: Extend the package-owned compiled `searchPlan` with one shared, fixed-width Unicode interior-anchor filter for eligible multi-pattern sets, compile selective primary and confirming UTF-8 byte pairs per pattern into AVX-512 VBMI/BW tables, and map surviving anchor positions back into the existing plan replay/state machine while preserving leftmost byte offsets and lowest-pattern-index ties. Disable the route when every pattern cannot contribute a safe fixed-width anchor, retain the portable generic filter, do not loop over independent per-pattern matchers, and accept it only if differential fuzz passes and `curated/02-literal-alternate/sherlock-casei-ru` falls below the fastest correct Rebar entrant without regressing any `BenchmarkBar` row.
